At the Redlands 19th annual Christmas Block Party, 10 of RWCP’s dogs & their people invited folks into our booth to “sit awhile, pet a dog & feel happy.” In addition to a snuggle with some awfully sweet dogs, there were lots of other activities, including a rock wall, train rides, a beanbag toss, crafts, live holiday music, drawings to win bikes – & more. The approx. 1500 children attending received a book, a pair of shoes & they got to choose a toy. Best of all – they each got to visit Santa. This sweet event was co-sponsored by the Redlands Police Dept. & the city’s Quality of Life Recreation Division.
