Training tonight involved lots of meet and greets, as well as silent sits. With silent sits, you walk your dog past a series of cones and at each cone you give your dog the hand signal for sit – no words are spoken. It is great to have your dog respond to just hand signals especially in noisy environments or if the dog ever loses its hearing.
