Angel Flight: POCA 4-2-14
With sympathy and prayers in the loss of POCA and her relocation to the Rainbow Bridge to join Georgie.
Alan has been a core member of our organization since our beginning in 2006. He and his first therapy dog Georgie have visited all of our facilities and participated in every one of our events. He and Georgie and Poca have been always devoted to our volunteer service.
Poca is the never-ending reigning dog who had the SOFTEST coat to pet. In contest after contest she was voted the softest.
Now she is in heaven interacting with all the children and adults who she brought joy, laughter, love and happiness.
She is happy and healthy and running and playing with Georgie and all of her associates in therapy service who also have gone ahead of her.
Our canine partners teach us so much. They make us better human beings and they bring out the very best in us.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning
We will remember them.
